The Shenzhen Yantian District (BGI Cell) Digital Cell Bank and Clinical-Grade Cell Preparation Center spans a total area of 4,000 square meters, including 3,000 square meters of laboratories. Designed and constructed in strict accordance with GMP standards, the center meets ISO9001 and other quality management system requirements. The cleanroom area includes Class C+A and Class B+A cell manipulation rooms, suitable for cell and gene technology development, pharmaceutical production, and other applications. The general area includes a PCR area, biochemical and physical/chemical testing laboratories, a cell bank, and other facilities for biochemical and physical/chemical testing, molecular biology experiments, and cell storage. The center boasts an annual sample preparation capacity exceeding 30,000 samples, and simultaneously stores over 100,000 samples of various types, including stem cells and immune cells.
